Dashboard reworked

The dashboard had been a weak spot ever since we put it up. The original page was just something we built in order to have a landing page after sign-in, and we forgot about making it useful while getting on with fine-tuning the pages we use the most.

After setting the application live, it seemed inadequate to have such a lame screen as the first thing you see, and so we built something meaningful. You are now given an overview of projects and tasks that are currently being worked on.


Task edit bug fix

When arriving at the ‘Task Edit’ page via ‘Task List’ a small glitch meant that the ‘Cancel’ button didn’t function. Now fixed.


Navigation updates

We made some minor amendments to the main navigation today. Peripheral links to the dashboard, help pages, and ‘logout’ have been moved to the top right. The font size of the main tabs was reduced, and background colour removed, forcing focus on the selected tab and reducing clutter.


Adderuppa is launched

At last, after four years of tweeking and prevaricating, we have let our task timer loose on the public.

This has been our intention for over twelve months now. We were still unsure about whether to launch, because there were a few tiny issues that needed ironing out, and a couple of amendments that we needed to make but, one day, a kind friend sent us a great book by 37signals, “Getting Real”, which convinced us that unless we just got on with it and released a 99% perfect application, we would never get round to completing that extra 1%.
